JM Styling was founded in 2004 by Josephine Macrander after obtaining her interior styling degree at the Artemis Academy. Josephine’s interest for aesthetics and craftsmanship was fostered at an early age; her family owned menswear store which worked with custom made tailoring.

After living in Paris, Josephine studied French at Groningen’s Rijks University. From Paris to international globe trotter, Josephine’s love of hotel luxury design was spurred by her travelling the world as part of her work with KLM. JM Styling has featured in several international publications and has been invited to appear in a number of interior design TV programs, including Binnenste Buiten and Droomhuis.

Living on Water highlights JM Styling’s experience of living in a house boat in the centre of Amsterdam with her family as well as interior design for luxury floating abodes. Life on Land reflects a collaboration with clients with more diverse style.

Josephine Macrander has been a teacher at Artemis Academy since 2008.
